Metformin To Injections

Hi all,

I'm currently on Metformin and I've asked to go on to injections as the I'm suffering with the normal side affects. I have been offered trulicity but I'm extremely reluctant to go for it as the side affects seem just as unpleasant as the Metformin, my question is what other injectable options would ther be for me thanks Neil. (Type 2)
 
Hi @Nlfalconry have you exhausted other options. Apologies if drugs are the only route open to you, otherwise it sounds clichéd but diet and exercise, combined with sleep are almost unbeatable for diabetes and life in general.
 
Not everyone gets every side effect. The only way to know how a drug will or will not work for you is to try it.
 
Hi. Can you tell us more about your diet as it looks like you may have some excess weight? If so, do follow the low-carb diet before going onto the injectables as they do have some side effects. There are a few other injectables to encourage T2 weight loss and blood sugar control. The main area of this website lists those.
