Type 2 Metformin

My mum's tablets are in a dossit box. This month, I've noticed a change in 3 of her tablets. Her metformin is white and round as usual, but no imprints on either side.

Hi @Janet DH there are a large number of different metformin brands. It may be that your pharmacy has changed her to a different one?

You could ask the pharmacy if you are concerned?

Thank you, over the years I have seen many different brands but they all had imprints on them. I was concerned as there's no identification on these ones. I like to know they are ligit.

Just checked mine and they have no imprint on them, no brand name on the box, mine are from Boots & these are the ones I usually get

Thank you for your reply. I need to contact Pilltime about 2 other tablets so I will mention the metformin too! Just for peace of mind.

I get a different packaging every time and loads of different brands and makes.
