Hi I'm diabetic type 2 on metformin - good results in my last HbA1c being 6.1.

However I've now been diagnosed with Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance and Telangiectasia Macularis Eruptiva Pigmenposa.
Has anybody else got either of these and is it to do with the Diabetes?

TBH.......I don't think we have anybody on the Forum who has experience of the conditions you listed. I could post you a couple of links but not sure if you already have seen them ??

Anyway ??? Here are the links from last night which I have been sitting on to see if anybody answered you with experience....unfortunately not....... :(

It's not something I have any experience of but hope the links may be of help, there are embedded links to other sites with information which you may need to follow........

Hi, I am Diabetic type 2, I have just been diagnosed with MGUS and I am awaiting a result from a skin biopsy .
I have been told MGUS doesnt need any treatment, but I have to be tested every three to four months, they are sending me a pack through the post that I have to take to my local GP to be tested.
MGUS can turn into MULtiple MYloma so thats what they have to watch out for.
MGUS to reassure you is not cancer, but we have to be checked often.
I have outbreaks of these spots, mine they think is Cholinergic Urticaria
I know it is worrying myloma uk helped me a lot its free and they reassured me.
I sincerely hope this has helped you, please ask me anything you like if it reassures you.
