Are you interested in taking part in a research trial using a free voice assistant in your home? Miicare is recruiting 35 participants to help determine the acceptance, engagement and health outcomes of adults over the age of 65, who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, using assistive technology in their homes. The purpose of using the MiiCube assistive technology is to enable self-management at home. Participants will be required to interact with the digital health coach Monica for 12 weeks, which provides guidance on diet, sleep and more. Please answer the questions in this survey to the best of your ability to be in with a chance of taking part and receiving a FREE MiiCube voice assistant.

Nice idea.
Sure it would benefit some .

With an extended stay at home, surprising how natural it is to see Alexa as an intergral part of our household.

Can see this being seen as similar by many ..after all, it where tech is heading .

However while fitting the demographic, I'm put off by the competition element...so like they say on dragons den..I'm Out.

But that leaves space for someone more deserving, which is nice

Thank you for your feedback. I don't think there is a competition element to the study, they are only looking for a certain age group in a certain locality. This is a fairly normal way of conducting research, and I would encourage anyone who fits the description to sign up and try and take part.
