Milk Shakes

Hello @peterwood48 and welcome to the forum :)

Milk contains lactose which is a form of sugar, added to that is pure sugar to sweeten the milk, so it's not a good combination for a type 2.
 
You could whip up some cream and add cocoa powder and/or a couple of berries and add some runny cream. Haven’t tried it, but should work.
