Good Morning Everyone

I have been away from the forum for a long time but now I back.

I was wondering does anyone have any thoughts on when is the 'best' time to test in the morning time.

I have been told to do so immediately you get up. I always waited one hour.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a very fixed morning routine which is get up, pee, weigh, test blood.

Record weight and FBG level in my spreadsheet.

Every day except when on holiday when I usually have a break.

I test as soon as I wake up while still in bed!
I don’t think it matters much exactly when you do it, but to always use the same routine, so you are comparing like with like. As a type 2 I don’t always need to look at actual numbers rather just trends.
