Movies,

Breaking Bad is my current addiction.
It's not a film but a series and available if you have Netflix etc and I have to have a fix every day.
It's character driven with action etc thrown in.
As I said, completely addictive. Definitely recommended and everybody else I know who has watched it agrees.
Oh, and it's Emmy award winning so must be good.

Pretty Woman has just started on BBC 1.

And I am watching it AGAIN......

Sad or what...

I omitted one thing.

The songs makes me boo... As usual last night was no different. Thinking back to the happy days with my now deceased ex.

Don't know why I put myself through it but I do.

Same with Rebecca today. The Hitchcock original with Sir Lawrence Olivier...

Think I may have a problem.....

The year fives in Ysgol Gymraeg Dewi Sant looked a bit clueless when faced with Superman, so Star Trek it is.

Hope I'm not too late, but have you thought of the fanfare from The Vikings (Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis)? Simple yet stirring. Go to Youtube, enter The Vikings into the search engine and it's the first film to come up. Start playing it and you'll her it in the first few minutes. Hope this helps

Hiya, - never too late, - we do it every September. Thanks for the reply! I know the Vikings horn part, it's really distinctive, but the average age of the audience is about nine, so I'm not sure they'll have seen it. There's a bit of a competition amongst the brass teachers as to who can get the most "whispers" of recognition. I win most years This year it was star wars, Harry potter and pirates of the Caribbean. (The cello teacher kept pinching my tunes so I kept swapping around!) - Last year the trombone teacher won, but, I'm sorry, there are some places I won't go. - Telly Tubbies being one of them!!!!

watched "stand up guys" on sky last night, thought it was great if yous get the chance to see it

Can't get enough of BB great series, only trouble is I'm borrowing it from my sister who only watches 2/3 episodes per week where as I can easily watch 3 per night.

Out of Africa is on now on on ITV.

I watched it umpteen times but I just have to partake as one does.

And once again the brilliant John Barry music is making me cry.

But it sure is worth it....

Will probably be on the ITV Player.

Also recently I watched True Detective with Mathew McCanauchy ( Sorry for the spelling) and Woody Harellson.

I don't have Sky and fell in love with Mathew when he played Ron Woodruff in Dallas Buyers Club. It's about a heterosexual man who contracts aids through having sex with a drug addict who used needles. This was in the early 80s. It follows his battle against the FDA to obtain drugs that actually worked against keeping the virus under control.

Absolutely BRILLIANT film.

As per usual I found both True Detective and Dallas Buyers club by doing a lot of digging online and won't pass on any links I have as they are not really legal.....

Both worth a watch....

As Good as it Gets. Really funny the more times you watch it, starred Jack Nicholson.
Fabulous Baker Boys. Ancient now, but love it. Starred the Bridges brothers.

Any with Vampires or a good horror

I love the ghost and mrs muir! Am currently watching where eagles dare! Must have seen it 20 times lol!

Watched it at the theatre with husband when 25. The woman in black mingled with the audience! Wasn't living with husband at time. Just visiting for weekend and had to drive back up north next day late at night. Driving over fens when started to think about the film. Scared the **** out of self!

i love horror films
Have you seen the ring? Watched it with some friends. The boys then went outside and phoned us up, whispering 7 days - scared us senseless! Revenge is sweet though as my husband had to take a minibus full of kids away for the weekend and they saw lots of images from the film - loose horses on the road, a lighthouse etc! Scared him senseless. Lol!

Please be kind but I love all the Elvis movies ! I also like old classics, Laurel & Hardy, Sinatra movies, Jimmy Cagney and Jimmy Stewart.
