Mulberry Tea

Spotted something on the internet the other day about Mulberry Tea potentially helping with diabetes. Has anybody ever tried this? It might be of a help to my mum, who is due to IBS, arthritis and weight gain over the years has snuck up into the prediabetes stage. She's very limited in her diet because of the IBS and food sensitivities also), so if she could try the tea it might help her (she's a tea drinker anyway).
