That's fantastic news!! And just proves a point... Well done!
We had a huge battle with the NHS to get my 5 yr old a pump - we won the battle and since being on the pump her Hba1c has come right down to 6.4. I punched the air in the consultants room and said "see, told you so" !!! That felt good!
Anyway, well done again. You must feel great

All drops in hab1c have to be good!!!!!

Well done Becki!! and anybody on a pump that gets a decrease in ANY level.....we have to celebrate being able to liver better and for longer and with better management.......

For so many people, it is a huge battle just to get a pump, and to get ANY improvement after such a stressful time has to be fantastic..... and just proof alone that pumps can significantly improve life's....

The more the better reports we have on here for good hba1c's the better for futre persons wanting pumps........well done Becki.....

Fantastic result Becki, well done, you must be thrilled with that result! :D

hi all

defiantly thrilled, hoping it continues,

set changes are so quick these days and would fight anyone who wanted my pump (although if my kids got diagnosed i'd give it them in a second).

all changes are good , just had to share

I've gone from 7.1 pre pump to 6.7 to 6.4 to my latest this week at 6.3.

This weeks results are lower than I expected to be quite honest. My bloods do normally stay under 8 now, with hypo's being less common, and I recognise them better. I don't want anything any lower than this, as I believe I would be hypo or running low too often. My standard deviations are the best I've had so far on the pump as they are all reading between 0.8 and 2.1 now, which I think tells me that my extremes are not extreme anymore.

I ws lucky that my GP surgery phoned me with my hba1c result, but have called me in to discuss other results, (which I think will be a continued high RF reading). They took 5 vials of blood, and there was about 10 tests they were asking for, so good news phonecall, has also come with an anxiety letter. Can't be anything too bad, because the letter says it's non-urgent.
