Hi I’m after some advice please, my daughter was diagnosed Dec 2019 with type one, I’m struggling a bit as she is always peaking high, especially after meals - I’m trying everything, she eats really healthy, I get her to exercise after each meal and I am now injecting insulin 20/30 mins before meal. Nurse has said because she’s young it’s common to be up and down a lot but bloods high most of the time it’s really stressing me out as trying so hard and worried about long term affect. If I give her more insulin then after the high she will have a low so ratios are correct, if anyone has any advice I would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Harriet
