Just chipping in - metformin is a standard treatment for any woman with PCOS (but since I don't know your PCOS statuses, I don't know whether that is relevant)

I was told by a consultant gynae that I he thought I had it- the wording of his letter still smarts- obese and hirsute woman - but nothing was ever done as the senior partner said it was so rare(!!!) as to be highly unlikely. I then conceived naturally but lost two pregnancies before having son 20 years ago. Supposedly my ovaries looked ok at last scan I had for endometriosis chocolate cysts but I've since read that cysts aren't always present. I wish something had been done sooner but because I got pregnant it was all forgotten about till I mentioned it when diagnosed with diabetes.
He deserves to die. Slowly. While being beaten by thistles and dribbled in lemon juice. In room 101.
