Thanks Yes Average levels 6.8 I think that meanDo you know what the mean is rather than the median? Over a 3 month data set I would think mean will give you a more accurate indication. Having a wider data set covering a range of times of day would also be helpful
If the mean figure was also 6.8 then that would predict an hba1c of 40 which is the same as my latest result, which the endocrinologist described as showing “ excellant control”
If you put the average level in it will give a projected hba1c - again most accurate with 2-3 readings a day taken at different times of day, not just your fastingThanks Yes Average levels 6.8 I think that mean
40 Hba1c but I not sure
Thank you. I know that the more control, the more accurate the resultHow come you are not testing after eating, always fasting?
You would get a much better picture if you include and equal amount of fasting and post meal levels.

Thank you. I know that the more control, the more accurate the result
But you know finger prick is difficult![]()
Almost three months ago I did not do the meal testsDifficult? You do a lot of fasting tests. Post meals are no more difficult!
Thanks I'm expecting a good resultGood luck with your HbA1c test.![]()
