My blood glucose level is 65 mg an hour after eating?

Should I be concerned? I'm not a diabetic and I've had some symptoms of low blood sugar after eating any form of carbs.

I've recently quit low carb dieting which I know develops insulin resistance, is there any way to get insulin sensitive again? Very frustrated here :(

Hi. First, low carb dieting reduces any insulin resistance not increases it. Being overweight can cause insulin resistance. A blood sugar reading of 65gm has no meaning; at least in the UK. Blood sugar is measured in mmol and can be anywhere from 3'ish thru to 20s or 30s. A figure below 8.5 2 hours after a meal is good.

I believe that is 3.6 mmol. And this is diet induced since I never experienced such symptoms and it would be too coincidental.

It looks like you experienced reactive hypoglycemia which could be a sign of Prediabetes. What did you eat, what was your level before the meal, do you have any family history, are you overweight, are you just testing because you are low Carbing if so, why are you low Carbing etc?
