Thats great great news, well done, in 3 months thats good going. What sort of changes did you make to your life to achieve this? I only ask because I need to lower mine from 82. I noticed you mentioned Forziga, I was offered Dapagliflozin same drug. Did they also offer you Metaformin? I was offered both.

I was on metformin for about a month , made me nauseous and messed up my stomach, no problem with the forziga , pee a bit more but no problems
As regards diet I really cut back on the carbs , I do have some brown rice and sourdough whole meal bread but a lot less than I used to have , eat a lot of berries with good yogurt , fresh chicken , lots of fresh veg and fish , but basically very little processed stuff , not much exercise as bad arthritis but even so I still give the dog a walk most days

Congrats on latest results, I am hopeful for similar next week as had bloods this week. I envy your 'stick with it' ability.
Your mention and description of metformin intake mirrored my encounter with it - not nice - ended up on phone to 111
However (there always seems to be a however with me), whilst I think I have been diligent regards diet I (hands up) may have slipped the noose a little and the odd hobnob does not cover it. Rather, think croissant - which I adore - a couple of times or so. I prefer to think of this in terms of personal research and obviously I shall divulge all to honorable members of this forum.
Just for info., 3 months ago bloods were at 60 and still remember that bluddy sinking feeling when result was announced. Oh well ......

I'm lucky in a way as I had no problem with chocolates and biscuits ,my big one was white bread and rice ,at least 6 slices a day ,and sugar doughnuts,
Bread if I have it is 2 slices of brown sourdough ,and rice is always brown and half the amount,
Hope you get good news with your latest bloods

If you are bread devotee, have you tried Vortigem (Braces is supplier)? Carbs for a slice is 13g
I try to keep to under 60g of carb per day and this is my go to bread.
