Hi all.
I’ve been diabetic since 2008 type 2 but I had a bad episode in June and now I have to take Insulin injections but my BM readings are fairly stable however the question or problem I’ve got is my Glucofix Tech GK machine has stopped working. It’s completely blank. I’ve changed the batteries and still nothin. I was given this,a nine by my NHS Diabetic Nurse but I dont know if I’m missing anything. Any tips?

I don’t quite understand your question, a typo in there somewhere maybe? Could you just clarify what you’re asking please.

I just needed to know if anyone has had the same problem with this type of machine.

Ah ok. I’ve never used that one. However I guess if you've changed the batteries, I can’t think of anything else that the user can fix. Is it very old?

I would suggest contacting the manufacturer.
BG meter suppliers are usually happy to replace a faulty meter because they make most of their revenue from the consumables.

I had one failed meter replaced by Abbott years back.
They recently replaced this meter with another new one (different model) because the old one was no longer supported by their software.

If you were given it by your health care provider I think ask them for a replacement in the first place.
