My house is really nice...

Definitely something going on...strange isn't it when you can 'sniff' out fishiness??

Can someone point me in the direction of the "fishiness"? I'm intrigued...

omg patch - hope your ok? daft question I know, well done though, least you got rid of them. I echo everyone here though, next time call the police, my friend had a simliar experience and the police came within a few minutes..

Are you guys on the glue????? :? :?

TBH - it went much better than I had hoped...

All in good fun.

It seems the general consensus is that vigilatism is the way to go!

Look at what's happening in Libya, Syria, Egypt etc. dictators/bullies and thugs are no longer tolerated.

Viva la revolution.

PS: Remember "Citizen Cane"?

I think we need to watch Greece...!!!!!

I used to run a pub - hated it all those people you don't know/like coming into your home - so I wouldn't call the police - they never turn up until they can be sure they won't be involved in any trouble. Unless the person is so drunk they can't stand up, or female, and then the big, brave policeman will come and beat them up.

I rate the police highly - but not on being helpful.

Keep your back door locked Patch - if they get in without force they can claim squatters rights! -

...but there are some punks outside that want to come in for a fight.

Stupidly, I let them in (got a few of my "close"mates round first to even it up a litle) and had a good ruck with them. It looks like I won - 'cos the punks have all ran off.

But my house is a mess now, and I've ruined it by letting them in.

Why, oh why, didn't I just ignore them when they rang on my door bell? They couldn't have done any real harm if I'd just NOT engaged with them. :(

Live n' learn I s'pose.

Peace, Love and not rising to the bait.

I love the responses Patch. Some people get it and some people don't.
I often wonder if it is best to be aware or just go with the flow and accept that apathy usually rules.
