So just did fasting fasting bg after 5 attempts (couldn't get any blood, got frustrated, tried repeatedly) and got a rubbish 6.3! I'd have thought it would at least be in high fives.
Let's see what tomorrow brings....x
I wasn't able to test post dinner last night but this morning's FBG is a bit better at 6.0 so that's reassuring. I'm on my third consecutive fast today and weighed in at the same as what I was before the extravagances of last week so I'm pleased at that too.
Went swimming with the girls last night so think that's helped. It's the first time I've swam on an empty stomach and survived! I've also noticed since these holidays began, I'm not actually moving as much as I would normally. I sat on my **** most of yesterday so must do something about that. Arms are also looking wobbly thanks to not doing weights the past few weeks because it was too hot. Must get a session in today at some point too...

I love that bookRead it as well. I still need to read my copy of Good Calories / Bad Calories .. it's pretty heavy compared to Why We Get Fat Have you read "The Art & Science of Low Carbohydrate Living" by Phinney and Volek? I think you'd really like that one along with Taubes & Fung's books.
