In retrospect I feel as though I was fighting a losing battle before, so in many ways I'm glad of the (albeit late) diagnosis.

Obviously "Paleo" is an approximation of our ancesteral diet, "the Zone" is focused on hormonal control - principally insulin, glucagon and icosanoids (which control inflammation).
