Naproxen and high blood sugars

Hello

I suffer with hip bursitis and the doctor has put me on naproxen, when I started taking these my blood sugars went high, I also had an infection in my finger around this time which seems to have cleared up now but still suffering with high blood sugars. I have tried upping my Levemir and Novorapid doses which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I have stopped taking the naproxen today to see if that is what is causing the problem.
Has anyone else had problems with high blood sugars while taking naproxen?
Also does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get my blood sugars back under control?

It could be the infection that contributed to the highs. Does the Naproxen leaflet say it can affect blood sugar?

The leaflet dosent say anything about Naproxe affecting blood sugars. Blood sugars seem to be a bit better today so maybe now the infection has gone they might settle down

Naproxen raises my levels, too. I am considering asking my GP for a different NSAID as I have been taking Naproxen long term.
