nearly 2 years...

Hey everyone! This May will mark 2 years that I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. During this time I haven't taken it that seriously (but there were a few weeks here and there that I tried to change my diet and get more exercise). Recently I was in hospital because my blood glucose had reached 560 mg/dL (31 mmol/l) and then it was decided I should start using insulin. (Started this morning, actually.)

I'm a 25/f from the Caribbean and I think it's time I took my diabetes more seriously.
