Hiya everyone hope all is well!!!
i need help i have been diabetic for 12 months on insulin 4 yes a day and lately my sugars have been all over the place up and then down not at all controlled over the last 12 months i have been pretty good and have managed to control them but lately has been a different matter. I also have been feeling very sickly could this be due to my sugars thanks guys in advance. P.s i am not pregnant!!! Xx

0.1 is nothing to worry about. Are your sugars always high or just erratic?
really erratic at the moment really annoying to i was thinking as stupid as it,might sound could it be that my pancreas is not making as much insulin anymore sounds really stupid but cant think of anything else nor changed my diet or anything x

Hi Leah - yes, it's possible you could be at the end of your honeymoon period. I don't remember much about mine now, as it was over 40 years ago and we didn't have self blood testing then, but hopefully some of the more recently diagnosed T1s could tell you about their 'honeymoon ends' and how it affected them.

Hope things settle down for you soon.

Just a quick thought - have you been checked for coeliac disease? It's more common in T1s as it's another auto-immune disease. I had it for several years before it was eventually diagnosed. My main symptom was feeling sick (especially after eating bread/wheat) and weight loss.
