Hi everyone, I have been going more serious relating to my heart problems these days as from few days I have been feeling somewhat uneasy and when I went to the doctor he diagnosed this as low blood circulation. I have been given some suggestions for this by the doc,but would like to know any more things that I should OR should not do to avoid any complications. :(
Any help will be appreciated

I'm actually not sure what your doctor means, but if it's sluggish circulation, exercise is good.

Hi, it is true any exercise will help you with sluggish circulation, even fiddling while sitting in a chair or lying down, but careful if you are not used to exercising, you must start off s-l-o-w-l-y and especially now we have a heatwave, by slowly I mean for example do some exercises that are not strenuous at first, just fidgeting around, while sitting down but keeping your feet on the floor raise just your heels keeping your toes on the ground, just raise heels a few times, then keep the heels on the floor and just raise your toes, and wriggle your toes too whenever you think of it during the day, do it several times, its all a start and then progress, maybe if you want to exercise more your doctor could recommend some physio, many people with heart problems have physio and gradually build up to fitness and increase circulation.

Check with your doctor what he/she exactly mean when they said you have low blood circulation and also ask what they recommend you do about it, and if it is ok to exercise especially since you say 'relating to my heart problems', do you have problems with your heart now or in the past?

All the best

My sports therapist, who runs the water exerciseclasses that i attend, also does some chair based exercise classes. Get in touch with your local sports centre and see what classes they run. Local authority sports centres tend to be good. Otherwise start by just walking everywhere.

Yp....sure if it is sluggish circulation a bit of exercise will be better.I have been on this forums before......was good info that I got last time. Low blood circulation – that could that be somewhat related to coronary artery ….probably I guess not …otherwise the doctor would have told you. But, anyways I would advice you to be more careful and would like you to search for better health resources (its good that we get most of the answers and sources here) that will help you to know important tips on keeping yourself fit and the pros and cons of the related issues. I would advice you to look at heart health information as I too was a little worried about my high blood pressure but I have got some suggestions to keep that in control from reliable sources :D
