Neuropathy symptoms?

Hello everyone,

I'm T2, diagnosed in Nov/20, not very well managed just now. Over the last 3 weeks or so I've been getting a lot if tingling in my left hand (only this hand), started during the night but now getting it a lot during the day as well. Also have a burning sensation occasionally in my right foot. Could these be neuropathy symptoms? I'm getting a little anxious with the tingling especially as it's increased so much. Don't know if I should be contacting my DN about this, has anyone else experienced this? Also, and slightly off topic, as I know I've got to get my diet and weight in check to get my HBA1C down I've been looking at weight watchers, apparently they have a plan dedicated to diabetics, I know a lot of these plans are no good for diabetes with the amount of carbs they want you to eat to stay full but I thought that one may be better, I really need something to keep me on track and accountable, doing it myself at this point just wouldn't work but if I need to weigh in every week and I'm spending money on it then hopefully that'll give me some motivation. Has anyone tried this plan or even heard of it? Thanks for any advice.

Maggie x

I would definitely speak to your GP. It might be nothing but it’s definitely worth getting checked. I would really reccomend the books here: https://diabetes.gifts/top-5-books-...should-read-to-manage-their-condition-better/ especially the “reversing one”. I found understanding my condition helps me to manage it much better. The recipe books are great too and even if you do go to weight watchers will give you loads of recipe ideas.
