Ah Jess she's adorable!! Congratulations hope you're both doing well!

I've just found out I'm pregnant this week looks like I'm about 6 weeks :)

Thanks! Huge congratulations to you! How are you getting on? It's an amazing but scary feeling when you finally get pregnant, hope you manage to enjoy it and not stress too much! ;)
 
Thanks hun, quite honestly I'm terrified lol found out I was preg by going to docs coz i had been bleeding and didn't know why, turns out this is why lol but the bleeding n occasional cramps are scaring me thinking its a miscarriage but all my friends with kids keep telling me it's totally normal, so did the doctor but I do love to worry myself!

Bg readings have been ok, staying within my new ranges most of the time but feel like I'm constantly chasing hypos, proud of myself for not over doing it when I do hypo though as I have always done that then had a rebound of about 15.

Had an 11.3 tonight which has been my highest reading yet but puzzled me as I had a very low carb tea but I just told myself it's one of those things just correct it and don't dwell :) xx
 
It sounds like you're doing really well! I spent my entire pregnancy sorting out hypos as well but as I told my diabetes team, they don't harm the baby so providing I don't lose my hypo awareness I'm ok with that (having said that I do have CGMS as have had zero hypo awareness at times).

She is sleeping soooo contentedly too in the picture .
 
Congratulations Jbgreen! She's gorgeous. I hope you guys are settling into parenthood ok. One thing I learnt is take it easy on yourselves and don't be surprised if you get things wrong, just laugh! Enjoy! x

This is Lucas born at 35+6 weeks by emergency c section , he weighed 7 pounds and was born on the 18th of April at 15.20 .
Was a tricky road but we have both done it and are now both home saftley and me and his daddy are loving every minute of it , worth everything !!!
