NEW CGM ANOTHER HYPO!!!

Did you check this against a glucose meter to confirm it was a real hypo and not a false hypo caused by a compression when the sensor is slept on ?

No I didn’t.
Did you feel groggy upon waking ? Unless you feel slightly out of sorts it's safe to assume a false low from a compression - try using the inside of your arms to site the sensor so you don't sleep on it.

Felt perfectly fine.

Ok next time you site a sensor on your arm just check it's not in an area you are likely to sleep on and hopefully you won't get this happen. I have to admit even if I go low during the night I still mostly sleep through them, having become immune to the sound of the alarm, I know you don't keep your phone nearby at night but it's still worth having it there as well as your BG meter to check it against.

You must, as there are thinks that can cause false high/low in cgm like pressure on the cgm by sleeping on it etc..

NEVER make treatment decisions based on cgm readings that do not match symptoms or are unexpected
