If you are able enough exercise is very helpful in reducing insulin resistance, but not weight reduction. You don't have to train for the olympics, but good for you if you do! Just being mobile, if you have a desk job, stand up and move about at every opportunity. Use stairs and not a lift whenever you can.I had the results of my HbA1c today. It's 42, which puts me as prediabetic. I'm not surprised. My own readings show the main problem to be impaired glucose tolerance.
I know I have to lose weight, exercise more and reduce the cards. Now I just have to do it!
