New cooking oil coming to the market

This article does not provide any clue as to its omega status, but it is most probably another omega-6 oil. Seems you can create it from grass and other non premium crops from normal arable land, and the byproducr seems to be a protein biomass. So another highly processed foodstuff enters the market. Lab meat, and now lab fat. Soon we will get lab babies?

Too late they are already here!

The big question is
Will there will be pure natural grown food in twenty years?
or will we be eating space food out of tubes?
Not wishing to alarm anyone, but will we be here to eat the spacefood?

Maybe cabon capture will be used to create new carbohydrates out of thin air? They already make methane and hydrogen from solar cells on an industrial scale. After all, most of the grass will be under water or mud soon.

Hopefully many will do a hatchet job on this, the 100 year population experiment with vegetables oils doesn;t look great. At least I can feel sure it won't be coming to Manningtree (proper food) market.
