Hi I'm Peter.
I was diagnosed T2 in February. HBA1C was 117, now down to 40.

Weighed 18.5 stone at the end of last year, now at 11.

Made a lot of changes in the last 10, with the support of my wife and Mum... (I'm 46, but still 16 in my mum's eyes).

On Metformin, Ozempec and a few other bits. But things are generally under control.

Funding this Christmas tougher than Easter as I have a sweet tooth, but refuse to go backwards on what we have achieved in controlling my T2.

Hope this gives you all a little background into me, any questions feel free to ask...

Hello & Welcome. Well done! These may help with your sweet cravings https://deliciouslyguiltfree.com/

Well done on your positive take on this illness, and for all the progress you have made! Christmas can still be celebrated, you can have all the diabetic-friendly food you enjoy, and you'll be surprised at how little you miss the old foods. Some people can be a pain trying to make you eat/drink stuff you know will do you harm, but you can rise above that. "Forgive them, for they know not what they do". We all go through that, but our wellbeing is more important than their desire to push you into harmful decisions. We are all here for you, and I think you should be very proud of your achievements.
