New injection being approved

Hi, when I recently went to my diabetes consultant for a check up he was, as usual, on my back about weight, and yes I know I need to lose quite a lot but just find it so difficult. He suggested oralistat pills but said if these didn't work then when I go back he thinks there will be a new injectable drug for diabetics which would also help with weight loss that would be approved by then, I can't take mime tics due to a history of pancreatitis so any idea what it is he was on about?

Ah I have heard this twice now from a dns and consultant as I'm over weight think it makes u feel fuller plus its long acting insulin from the little bit of information I have gleaned from them

Do try the low carb again. It works better than any other diet.
