New ketone breathalyzer gadget!

@nicolarse01: I believe that testing breath ketones also shows real-time ketone values. But we're not actually testing ketones for ketoacidosis, but for dietary ketosis to see if we're in fat burning mode as opposed to using carbohydrates for our energy. This is a completely natural process and not at all dangerous, and some type 2s check for ketosis when using a very low carb (LCHF) diet to help control glucose levels.

Hi Robbity, sorry to hear that you are feeling unwell and hope you have a speedy recovery.

My Ketonix is the latest model, 2015, shows the results as % [ of scale ] colours and number of blinks in each colour band.
