Consider also the possible effects of liver dumping caused by low BG overnight and the liver dumping glucose into the blood to compensate. Perhaps you could take your BG every hour after the evening meal and if they are falling before going to bed but are high in the morning, that sounds like liver dumping. I have read that just having something to eat in the morning will switch off the liver dumping.Hi I'm type 2 on 2000 mg metformin n still having spikes of 14 in morning after fasting.been docs today n dn put me on gliclazide and took one at 10 am my bloods dropped to.3.6 is this right??????
