At present, I take a basal insulin at night and Humalog with every meal. I'm quite a low dose though, only 1 unit for every 15g of carbs. My nurse believes I am still in the "honeymoon phase". Do you this this may be why ? I'm type 1 by the way.

I take 1 unit per 12g and 1 unit per 15g depending on the time of day, works out as 2 or 3 units per meal. I'm in the honeymoon period too and have been told this will increase as my pancreas packs it in completely!
