New Social Network for Diabetics

Had a look,it seems to be a brand new site, only one member, but can't tell what country it is coming from.

Knowledge is the key to control

Now has two members, but I am very suspicious of any site that provides absolutely no information about who owns or runs it. Just what are they wanting to hide?

It is as follows:

That's pretty good detective work!
Thanks Buachaille.

Why do we need another site when we have a good group on here, I tried a couple of links, 1 was for Diamoxol the other to ivillage.com, which you can access on your own....I think I will stick with this 1.

Hi

I am Jens Christensen, and I have made the social networking site for diabetics. I am a private person, and not a business.

The social network is free, and you do not have to leave personal info, so Dennis I am surpriced why you are suspicious :)

Anyway that site is not meant to be a competitor to this forum.

My site is not a forum, but a social networking site which is offering other possibilities.

Please feel free to ask me if you have questions.

Btw the address you found is just the address of the datacenter of the hosting company I am using.

Best
Jens

DiabetesFriends - Standard forum protocol would be to automatically delete any post of this nature. If your site genuinely offers free, positive and helpful services to the diabetic community, the thread can stay, is this the case?

2008 is great

Hi

Yes, it is a free site created by me, a private person, who has diabetes. The site is free in full, and will be monitored daily. The site also has a "report this user" button on all profiles , so that if anybody feels offended by a user, in any way, an email is sent to me and I can take appropriate action, by warning, deleting and if needed, ban the user.
