New to forum wanting advice on time zone change and insulin

Gdid morning my name is Kathleen and I live in turkey. I have type 2 diabetis .I am traveling to ireland on the 28th of march how do I adjust my insulin time. I take it at 6pm in turkey and there will be a 3 hour differance in time.

Hi @kathleen1234 and welcome to the DCUK forums. Can I ask what type of insulin you are taking? Forum rules mean we have to be careful not to give medical advice but we do have plenty of members who are using insulin and have experienced time changes.

My evening basal dose can move by >3h depending on what time I get home/remember to do it, as does my morning dose. It seems to make no difference.

If it were me I'd just move it in one go, but if you wanted to be more conservative you could move it e.g. an hour per day.
