hi i was wondering what others thought of this i have been tested many times for diabeitce but every time in the morningtest my blood sugar is normal usually around 4 so dr dont think that i am but during the day i can feel tired nausea thirsty and really hungry and cold and hot all at the same time when i test my sugar level myself it can be between 7 and 12 so if anyone can advice me that will be great thanks alex

hi i have done been tested in the morning fasting sugar level where they take a blood test then make me drink a bottle of lucozde and then take it again 2hrs later it is always normal. tha ti keep asking themis is nomal when i am going about my day that all of a sudden u feel hot thirsty and really hungry and sick all at the same time and when i test it myself it can be 12 is that normal

As a diabetic, a bg of 12 would be too high. You really, really need to go back to your doctor and get them to sort this out for you. If you're not very good at being politely forceful, take someone with you that is but don't give up!
 
What are you eating when you are hungary. If it is very high carb then this could be the result of it. I am quite knew to this but I suggest that you examine what you are eating as you said your reaction to the glocouse test were okay. Have read quite a few items on this forum if my memory serves me right that non diabetics can also get high sugar results pending what they eat. Do you test a further hour later and what is it then.

But still go back to your doctors and show him your meter readings and hopefully will then be able to discuss this with you etc.
