I have been at diabetic for over 20 years on insulin 5 injections a day. First time on a forum. Struggling with high morning sugar at the moment.

Have you tested your basal by skipping dinner or eating a carb-free meal?

    Hi,
I find that if my b/s is high in the morning insulin alone doesn't change it for me.
I find that i need to take my correction dose, and then have a light breakfast with a dose for that meal.
