newbie saying hi..

hello just thought i would do a quick intorduction before i go off onto the baords and am never heard of again :shock:
im maxine 49 yesterday and have type 2 i was diagnosed about 5 years ago and having real problems losing weight ( and i am trying very trying if you ask people who know me) :lol: i thought it would be good to join a forum to get some support and to offer any too..
right im off to ahve a look around where is a good place to start ??? :?
 
Welcome to the forum,Maxine. There are lots of hints and helpful advice on here about controlling your diabetes and your diet.Please have a good look around the forum and ask us questions if you can't find an answer here.

Welcome to the gang. Happy belated birthday to you. You will find all sorts and ages on here. I think a visit to ask the experts is a good move as ANY questions you ask are answered promptly and factually.
I've only been on here a short time myself but it is great to get help and support when you need it.
