Newish T1 member hba1c level

I'm learning so much reading through this forum
As for Hba1c mine is 16.2% or 156mmol

Hi @Nobby247 and welcome to posting on the DCUK forums. As a fellow T1 who had some extremely high hba1c levels in her youth I can empathise with your result.

Can I ask what sort of insulin regime you are on and whether your diabetic team is giving you any help to get that level down. How long have you been T1?

Yes, diabetes is a pain but there is better tech out there now to help T1s.
