Hi,
My nurse isn't answering her mobile so I thought I'd give this a shot.

I was diagnosed on Friday, reading 24 on diagnosis and been between 16 and 23 ever since but tonight it's 32.4! Double checked it too. What should I do?!
I had a bowl of brown pasta (around 70g) and veggies for dinner about 4/5 hours ago. Should I inject?
Drinking lots of water, not sure whether to sleep!

Hi. What insulin / insulins are you using? Are you type 1? If you are you do need insulin but how much and when can only be advised by a health care professional.
Have you had any information on correction doses yet?

@ncwells - I'm not T1 or an insulin user, but I'll tag my colleague @Juicyj , whom I think may still be online. I'll also tag in @donnellysdogs and @Mel dCP who are experienced T1s and I think might be around.

In the meantime, drink plenty water and if in doubt, you could call 111.

Hello @ncwells1 - hope you are ok, sorry a bit late to the thread, if you could please give us an update on how you are ?

Only just seen this, are you alright? I hope you managed to speak so someone and bring it down x
