Just to note liposuction removes sub cutaneous fat but not visceral fat. The latter is a marker of your body's inability to deal well with carbohydrates and your own personal fat threshold may be low for genetic reasons and as you've identified, being born prematurely. You seem to be doing the right things to get rid of rhe excess glucose/visceral (liver and pancreatic fat) and should keep on with it as it seems from your results that your body is responding.Thank you to both of you for prompt reply .
This information us very useful .
My belly fat was gone after lipo suction . But yes , I was thin with belly fat
How was ur results early in diagnosis?
Thanks walking girl and everyone . I just started using my Dexcom G6 .
Walking girl , 0.9 is BG/ml but my FBG at the same time was 71. Very low .
C Peptide is generally reported as ng/mL (nanograms per milliliter) or nmol/L (nonomols/liter). I don’t know what BG/ml represents. I assume you mean ng/mL? If so, .9 should be in the the normal range - though your report will show the reference range.
Hope you get your answer on T2 v LADA soon.
Thanks HSSS. I have a Dexcom G6 so I know my BG real time . I will check with my doc if I can reduce my meds.
I wish I could eat more fat but my HDL, cholesterol and lipid is also high ( have family history too). So cannot eat fat , cannot eat carb , cannot eat sugar Nothing left but protein and veggies . I think I need more chicken or stake in my salad ! Just badly want a. Wish the stores were more inclusive and had diabetic friendly yummy stuff specially Christmas time ! We should campaign for more inclusive grocery stores and bakeries . I just got diabetes dark chocolate though . Might eat a small piece on some days ...

Interesting!
Imagine a magical low carb scone , with butter and sugar free blueberry jam . I think now the bottleneck here is the low carb scone ! Is there anything that can replace flour safely ?
All I think about is food
I never ate large quantities but I was such a foodie prior to diabetes . It’s so hard!
