Hello my name is Jodie. I’m newly diagnosed with t1d 8 months ago. Tonight was looking through the Breakthrough T1d website and came across the link to this forum. I’m from ni. I ask havr eye and mobility issues from birth as well as other health issues but I try not to let this stop mr lift my life and do what I enjoy but I’m still learning akk the time about t1
 
Welcome to the forums @Jodes 7 . I think we're all still learning about our T1, even those of us who've had it for decades. Luckily there is some really good technology out there now to make things a little easier.

It sounds like you have a very positive attitude which is great. Hopefully you can get help and encouragement from here, (even if it's only a safe space if/when you might want to vent).

Thanks so much for the welcome. I try my best to havr a positive attitude towards life age tye challenger I face not just from diabetes but with my other health, mobility and sight issues. Sone days are harder than others but on those days I try she chat to others or do something I enjoy to grip cheer me up like doing arts and crafts or go out fir a coffee with my assistant etc. I also attend a day cfntre twice a week and takr part in music therapy, art, relaxation, trios out etc
