Also, I found once I'd got my blood sugars down I was far far less tired. Hope its the same for you

I had side effects from Metformin for around ten days, if the symptoms don’t subside ask you Dr for the slow release version which is better tolerated. Just so you’re aware Metformin is quite a mild drug and will not get your blood sugar levels down by much. You’ll need to address your diet to really fix your numbers and then you’ll feel better.
