Hello newby here…
I’m now type two, I have twice put pre diebetes into remission using the low carb/Keto lifestyle, I’m once again on a keto journey to try and do it again, but this time I realise that if remission happens for me then the lifestyle change has to be permanent. I have lots of weight to lose and many medical issues to address, I’m a fibro warrior (prefer that to sufferer) I’m waiting on a two major surgeries as I’m a carer of my husband who is disabled from a brain haemorrhage (it happened 10 years ago) I dropped his scooter from the boot of our car and tried to catch it and caused myself all sorts of problems
I also have an underactive thyroid.
I’m on Metformin and I taken it twice daily, however I’m not consistent on the evening one, I also seem to forget…
I forgot last night, this morning I thought I’d check my fasting blood sugars and they read as 8.0
I don’t really understand all of this. My last Hab1c was 57 the one the month before was 58.
I about to read through this site and hopefully gain some knowledge.
This is where my journey begins…
