It may have been an HbA1c test (which isn't normally fasting) or it may just have been an ordinary blood glucose test from the vein (fasting).

@this is too difficult Why do you keep asking if they get the results the same day? They won't use finger prick checks for diagnostic purposes.
 
Please ask for a print out. You need to know if you had an HbA1c test or not. This test is an average of the previous 2 to 3 months rather than just a snap shot of what your levels were at the time of the test.

Tho im assuming as I hsd to have test repeated after a 2 month period thst it would be ?

I have a very short attention span and poor short term memory. It is the B12 defficiency apparently
 
We all have a lot to learn, me more than most. Baby steps to begin with. It is a steep learning curve but if you are determined and ask questions, you will get there.
