newly on insulin

have been started on insulin this evening just took my first injection
am scared how it will affect me still taking me metformin
never experienced a hypo or anything [worried] :?
 
Pretty soon it'll be like brushing your teeth Netty ! Keep testing and counting your carbs. I've also been lucky enough never to have had a hypo and been injecting for a while. It gets easier, I promise.

Well it is a bit weird that you have a very similar user name and had exactly the same avatar image though I see you've now removed it.

With regards to your original post:

I too was scared when I started insulin injections back in February. As mo1905 says it does become easier and now it's just part of my daily routine.

You will inevitably become aware of hypos but try not to worry too much. As long as you test regularly you'll soon get to know your insulin regime and what it's likely to do.

It's not easy but you'll get there through time.
