Breakfast Cereals........used to be I couldn't touch many of them. Now, after many months of losing weight, dropping Bg levels, I can tolerate around 20g portions of many that were taboo.

They simply don't have any effect on my Bg levels any more. So, I manage the odd bowl of Weetabix, Granola and Shredded Wheat........it is all down to the portion size though. Make a mistake with that and the levels quickly shoot up. I eat them because I enjoy them.......I think every diet should include some of the things you really like, just as the occasional treat. Makes it so much less boring to be able to have a choice.
