Interesting news item I found today.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Researchers searching for a cure for obesity said on Thursday they have developed a drug that not only makes mice lose weight, but reverses diabetes and lowers their cholesterol, too.

The drug, which they have dubbed fatostatin, stops the body from making fat, instead releasing the energy from food. They hope it may lead to a pill that would fight obesity, diabetes and cholesterol, all at once.

What is the point of testing a fat busting medicine on rabbits who, when fed a normal rabbit diet, don't make much fat? I don't know, but Ibet they don't get T2 either

My I point out that by profession I was, for many years, a publisher. In fact that is still what my passport says. I know the laws on copyright and have even given expert testimony in several court cases.

Once published a news item is in the public domain and can freely be republished without let or hindrance provided that a) a cite is given to the original article, and b) that no "plagiarism" is attempted.

I respectfully therefore reject your comments.

As we can only go by the piece quoted in red above and that the link is there for anyone to freely read the piece in question your post is still available for all those who wish to read it.
Most forums do not allow full quotes on articles but extracts ,with a link to the full article, only.
