News24 South Africa Article

If I'm not mistaken News24 is South Africa's "leading source of breaking news". Also the home of Tim Noakes.

With reference to the grief he got from The University of Cape Town, I believe the Health Professions Council of South Africa has upheld their not guilty findings against Noakes’ case of alleged unprofessional conduct.

Interesting article (dated January 2014) which shows how much proponents of an idea have to put up which so much misinformation. In this case Tim Noakes is a proponent of the Banting Diet (William Banting 1796 - 1878). Mind you people sending "hate messages" to his opponents doesn't really help matters.

Great article, sums up how I react to the mis-information out there. (But written far more eloquently). So much bullsh*t spread around by vested interests, but I hope times are a changing. Thanks for posting.

Typical Australian. Straight to the point!

I still remember a big sign on one of the main roads out of Melbourne.. "If you drink and drive, you're a bloody idiot!". It's great to see the low carb message spreading.

Sorry, don't know why I put Australia.

No worries, I frequently find that my fingers don't type what my brain is trying to say. It's been a weird case because the Health Professions Council of South Africa initially found him not guilty of professional misconduct (I think the charge was misconduct) and it was the HPCSA who appealed against there own decision only to upheld their original not guilty findings.
