We are aware that a lot of the information on Diabetes.co.uk is outdated. We are planning to allow site visitors to review each article and share their experiences, providing a balanced viewpoint on every topic relating to diabetes. Reviews will be community-rated, bringing the most relevant and useful to the forefront. I'm basically trying to gauge whether the community would use this service to share experiences? We could also link it in with forum threads, along the lines of - if you want to discuss this further. Would you use this service?

Sounds like a good idea,Dan as long as everyone can reach a consensus of opinion on the contents. We really do need to have 'expert' opinion though otherwise it will not gain currency with the more 'traditional' professionals.

Thinking more on this, if anyone would like to add information sections to Diabetes.co.uk, just write them an email them to me, and we will upload them. Presumably there are all kinds of niche subjects that we don't have anything on and it would help people to understand these.

For instance, a decent section on low-carb diets to kick things off...
