Night duty advice

Hi all. I work in a care home and have just been informed due to high sickness levels atm I have to cover two night duties tomorrow and thurs 8pm to 8am. I take my levimer 10u twice a day and novo rapid with each meal. This will be a first for me. Any tips?? Xx

I have to rotate onto nights with my job too. I swap my morning and evening doses of Levemir around (I take different amounts am and pm) I then bolus for my meals with the first meal of the day (my dinner) using my breakfast ratio. I don't eat a lunch equivalent (maybe some snacks at about 3am, fruit, yoghurt etc) and my breakfast (before I go to bed) I use my dinner ratio. I do 5 nights straight so it's easier to slip into a routine than if I did one or two. I don't always get it right though!
